What a lover Norman is! He has it all. He's cute as can be, with his sleek dark gray coat and white patch on his chest. He's good on a leash and very treat-motivated, so it will be so easy to teach him all sorts of tricks (he can already sit and stay). He's good with other dogs AND with cats AND with kids. And he's the most affectionate, anxious-to-please guy you'll find. He's about one year old, and he's 50 pounds of boundless love! He's not going to be around the shelter much longer because he's irresistable!

Virginia Beach Animal Care & Adoption Center has wonderful pets available for adoption.  As of December 6, all animals are now at the new shelter at 341 Birdneck Road.  The former shelter on Leroy Drive is now closed.  If you have lost a pet, please visit the shelter in person and often as lost animals arrive everyday.
