What can I say about Kane other than how gorgeous he is? Well, let's see, he is still a young man at about 1 year old. He weighs a solid 60+ pounds. His eyes will mesmerize you without even trying ♥ He is housetrained and he does like other dogs. He doesn't care for kitty cats, they look like squirrels. He may not be best suited for a house full of little kids either. Not certain why, but his owners said he isn't a fan. We haven't kid tested him ourselves. So I have to leave it at what the owners said. He is a big baby. Big bouncing baby boy. He does know the sit and lay down command....although getting him to stay down wasn't an easy task ;) Kane would love to get out of the shelter and into a good home soon. Virginia Beach Animal Care & Adoption Center has wonderful pets available for adoption.  As of December 6, all animals are now at the new shelter at 341 Birdneck Road.  The former shelter on Leroy Drive is now closed.  If you have lost a pet, please visit the shelter in person and often as lost animals arrive everyday.
