Hi, I'm Daisy, a 4-year-old 80-pound spayed female boxer/pit bull mix. I had a home, but my owner is on military duty and couldn't find a good home for me before he left. I have the most perfect dividing line between brown and white right down the center of my face, and my big semi-erect ears are really unique! I'm learning to sit for treats, and I'm a very good-natured girl. I'd be happy in a forever home with kids and/or another dog or two. Come meet me and see if you can resist my pretty eyes, sweet face, and easygoing nature! Best of all, I've been spayed so, if you're the right person or family for me, you can take me home right away!

Virginia Beach Animal Care & Adoption Center has wonderful pets available for adoption.  As of December 6, all animals are now at the new shelter at 341 Birdneck Road.  The former shelter on Leroy Drive is now closed.  If you have lost a pet, please visit the shelter in person and often as lost animals arrive everyday.
