                                  adoptashelterpet The Friends of Virginia Beach Animal Control was founded by caring and concerned citizens of Virginia Beach who want to help the animals in our municipal shelter. Each year, the City of Virginia Beach takes thousands of unwanted, stray, surrendered or animals seized in enforcement actions into the municipal animal shelter.

Many of these animals are friendly, healthy and highly adoptable and would make a wonderful addition to your family!

fullofpetsIt's springtime and that means that Virginia Beach Animal Control is full of great pets-puppies and kittens, dogs and cats-the Virginia Beach Animal Control Shelter has them and many are ready to go home with you today.

This is one of the toughest times of year because without enough adoptive homes for these animals, shelter staff will have some very difficult decisions to make-please come to the shelter and take a new pet home. Virgina Beach Animal Control has the easiest adoption process, the lowest prices and some of the nicest pets you will find.

Come adopt a new friend and save a life!
